If you’re building mock scrapes this season, choosing the right scent blend can make all the difference. Our two most popular systems, BCM-1 and BCV-2, share a powerful foundation of synthetic deer urine and branch catalyst, but each has a distinct scent profile and seasonal advantage. In this guide, we break down when and why to use each, how their formulas differ, and tips for getting the most out of your scrape setups to draw in bucks consistently from early summer to the peak of the rut.
Short answer is yes, you can but we strongly advise against it. N-11 signals a chemical change at the scrape in and around breeding that will excite bucks and does. If the product is consistently used outside of it's natural window, it becomes baseline and it's factor to stimulate and excite based on a "new" scent profile is greatly diminished. *Note,
these dates can vary regionally based on breeding dates in your area.

Scent profiles can last up to weeks based on moisture, wind and temperature conditions.
Dryer, windier and hotter environments will dissipate more rapidly.
